Not enough water?

Hey there,

I just got my sweet little chin yesterday in the afternoon. His poop has gone a little soft since yesterday and I've realized it could be from the stress of moving. But could it also be because he isn't drinking water? I haven't noticed him drink out of his bottle, so I thought maybe he isn't used to a bottle so I put in a little container of fresh water, too. But still, I've been keeping my eye out and I haven't seen him drink at all.

I've tried to put the bottle near his mouth to get him to drink, but he won't. I'm getting kind of worried. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do?

Chins in general dont usually drink that much water. I wouldn't worry that much. And he might be drinking when you arent looking. The best thing you can do for him right now is give him some free space and let him adjust to his new suroundings.

You can also take a marker and mark the water level on the bottle and see if in 24 hours if it went down at all. :)
