Merry Christmas all..
Heres a picture again of Hubert.. I looked closer at his quills last night and noticed that they are white on bottom, brown in the middle and white again on top. He also has a bunch of pure white quills mixed in there also..
The spots under his eyes are a light mocha brown.

So, with the picture and that description, can anyone tell me for definate what color he is??

I also wanted you all to know that he is growing like a weed.. How old are they when they quit growing?? The petstore said he was 4 months old when I got him.. I didnt realize he would grow so much after that.. Hes at least doubled his size..
It could be all the good food and worms hes getting.. Being in a fish tank full of more hedgies, he probably wasnt getting enough.. since he was the smallest..

Hope you all have a great Christmas.. Hugs to all your critters.. Prickly and all...

They are full grown at about 6 months. Is he done quilling? He looks as if he could be some kind of snowflake. You said his cheek patches are a brown though? Different color than the rest of his mask? This would indicate that he is algerian in color. How many quills would you say are pure white, like a percentage? I'm still learning with colors but he is a BEAUTIFUL boy! :)

This site should help: http://hedgehogcentral.com/colorguide.shtml

His mask is a bit darker in color than his patches under the eyes.. Not much darker though.. and Id say that about 25% of his quills are white..
How do I tell if hes done quilling?? I havent found any quills floating around his cage. All still attached to his body..

Looks maybe like a Charcoal, those patches just look like a continuation from his facial mask, not algerian patches...not totally positive but looks like it.
