HI!
I'm Janis. This is my second trip as a member of this board. I joined about a year and a half ago... contemplating getting a chin, and then as life has it, wasnt able to. Since I was sad, I stopped coming to this group.. yet.. now as a new homeowner, and with some Christmas $$ burnign a hole in my pocket... I hope to be a new chin mommy in the next few weeks!! I've already got my eye on a pretty little girl in New Hampshire and I can hopefully drive up to pick her up as early as this weekend!

I'm 30, almost married, with an almost 4 yr old son. The chin will be mine though!!! I MIGHT share with my son!

We just bought our first home and we've always had animals. This is the first time in about 20 years that I've not had at least 1 animal living with me! Not even fish! So, I'm looking for a cutey little Chinny to spoil and love!

Nice to meet you all! - did I mention I LOVE message boards so I hope to spend a lot of time here (though I currently only have computer access at work - during the weekdays).. and getting to know other Chin lovers!

Hi Janis, welcome to Chins-&-Quills. Hopefully you'll be able to get a chin soon! Nice to see another member around the same place as me :) Even though Im into hedgies, you'll find a LOT of helpful information on these boards about chins, and other exotics/pets. Again welcome!

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone!
I'm so excited... it's fun even planing for the chin!! What cage to get.. what kind of toys.. when I can go get her!!!.. I forgot that this saturday is new years day, so I'll probably have to put off getting her until next Saturday! Of course.. I still have to check with the breeder to see if that is ok! LOL

Thanks Chris! Nice to know someone near me here!

I haven't even gotten the Chin yet and I've already bought stuff! I was at the petstore to get hermit crabs for my son's birthday tomorrow and I bought a chin bath house, and a couple chin chewy toys such as pieces of stick with bark on it! And, I saw quite a few more things that I'd like to get!

I spoke with the breeder and it's official! I'll be getting "Luna" on Jan. 8th! I'm so excited!
