Soooo... I just got my two new suggies and I know absolutely nothing about having the two together.

Do any of you out there own Sugar Gliders as well? I know some of you do, you better respond! *Shakes finger at you*

Er. Right. So would it be okay for me to have the sugar gliders in a pouch on me, or crawling around on me or anything like that and still have a hedgie in my lap?

I don't think that the hedgie would ever attempt to do anything at all to the sugar glider, but would the sugar glider try anything with the hedgie? Is it just a bad idea to ever handle them together?

Thankyou :)

Well I own both and suggest that you handle them at different times..I mean a hedgie's quills can peirce the skin on out fingers, so imagine what they could do to the fragile/sensitive skin of your little suggies..I would suggest different play times if possible...Better to be safe, rather than sorry. I mean sure maybe nothing will happen, but there is always that possibility.:) Congrats on the little suggies BTW :) I wanna see pictures :D

I would also suggest handling them at different times. The bonding process between you and your new gliders is so important that you wouldn't want anything to interrupt it. Good luck with them. My gliders won't let me hold them, so hold yours extra for me :)

*Smiles* I promise to hold them extra once they really start to let me. Mhmm. asides from that, i mean more after the bonding process.. say I have them in my pouch and they are sleeping it would be okay to have hedgies in the lap too...?

Or no? rofl

I should just top trying?

I still wouldn't suggest it, just in case..Suggies are very active animals and may startle you hedgehog or the other way around even. Just my opinion to play with them at different times :) good luck with the bonding! :D they make really great pets once you can handle them and play with them. :D I just can't get enough of my little Chaos :)

They are very curious and once they feel comfortable with you, I'm sure they'll be climbing all over you. I just wouldn't risk putting the two of them together!
