This is for everyone who got their hedgehog as a baby, preferably prior to quilling.

I would like to know how many found their hedgehogs personality changed after quilling, or as they grew up.

I guess I'll start off

Emma - shy nervous slow to warm as a baby, same during quilling, same as an adult

Teasel - friendly adventurous baby, no change during quilling, friendly adventurous adult

Snow - Very friendly baby, moody and touchy during quilling, friendly adult

Peaches - wonderful friendly baby, TOTAL HUFFY QUILLY GRUMP during quilling, wonderful friendly adult

Bandit - very friendly baby, horribly sore skin and terrible quilling, shy nervous doesn't like to be handled or touched but will explore quills down as an adult He is getting better about being touched though.

Smokey - Friendly baby, no noticable change during quilling, friendly adult

Missy - friendly baby, touchy during quilling, some days friendly some days grumpy as an adult

Lily - Grump, grump, grump who does not like to be touched at all but will explore quills down

Daisy - friendly baby, grumpy during quilling, moody as an adult

Kei - wonderful friendly baby, very slightly touchy during quilling, wonderful laid back friendly adult

Peanut - took a few minutes to warm up as a baby, bit grumpy during quilling, needs a few minutes to warm up as an adult

The rest I got as adults. :)

I met Alina when she was an adult, so I can't really say if she changed or not.
I'm really interested in the results of this thread, however!

Let's see here:
Annabelle- very social as a baby, not too bad while quilling and a very nice girl as an adult
Atticus - a very shy baby, a complete grump during quilling, and is leaning towards being a grumpy adult
Oliver - very friendly baby, not grumpy at all during quilling and is leaning towards being a very friendly adult

I only have 1 hedgie that has been with me since he was a baby. He was/is:
Friendly baby, fine during quilling, friendly adult

Pixie was pretty nervous when I brought her home, i didn't see a noticeable change during quilling, and as an adult she's normal with some moody "don't touch me" days.

grumpy baby, same during quilling, friendlier as an adult

That would be Luna.

Friendly baby, grumpy during quilling, grumpy adult

And Kishana.

Izzy is pretty nervous and grumpy (gotta love that angry growl/fart noises she makes when I first pick her up  ) and she just started quilling this week but she's not even close to an adult yet. :p

Razzle: grumpy/nervous baby, same during quilling, friendlier as an adult

I think a lot has to do with him just getting used to [tolerating] me. Back in his younger days, you'd only see Razzle when the room was dark and quiet, and the slightest noise would send him running for cover. Now...if he wants to eat, he eats...lights, noise, TV on, doesn't matter. He's no longer my shy little boy anymore now that he's all grown up. :O
