My husband and I just arrived home from Springfield IL back from picking up the little hedgie girl. She is an absolute pistol! We've decided to call her Buttercup because she has no fear and thinks she's real mean. I'm used to hedgies that huff and puff when you first hold them, Buttercup charged straight up my arm and I had to grab her from diving off. She's an absolute doll and we managed to get only two decent pics of her since she can't be bothered to hold still. She's still losing and gaining a few quills; how old would you all guess she is? I'm also not sure of the color, maybe snowflake? I'll try to get more pics soon, I thought I'd better leave her alone to recover from her long trip.

I'm so in love!

Congratulations Robyn! It's hard to really "age" a hedgehog. I don't believe there is an accurate way to age them based on their size because they come in all different shapes and sizes.
I'm terrible with colors, but she does look like my Annabelle. She lightened considerably after quilling. I'm going to go out on limb and call her a chocolate snowflake? Wally is in my avatar and he was a chocolate chip snowflake. Lots more white quills.
Hopefully a real color expert will come on and take a guess.

I am so glad you went and got her. Now she has a good loving home and I dont' have to worry about her anymore! I followed that thread she came from all the way through it hoping she would find a good home. And now she has! (This is from me)
