View Full Version : the reason why i came here has since passed...

as i posted in another thread, my albino hedghog sonic died. i had him for as the reciept shows, 6 weeks. the store owner(i now know, mistake number one) told me he would give me a discount the next time i go in there. at least its something...

my vet took the time to look at him, and saw there was clostridium in his stool, tried baytril, and lil sonic passed 4 hours later...

i just figured to give him a small memorial here. i found some great pics i had still on my camera from the day before he died(new years eve)...


i told my son today, and he didnt take it too good. We have been online looking at what kinds there are(to take his mind off sonic) and now hes sleeping.


all the wonderful people here, i wish i would have found this place sooner.

You may not have had him very long, but I can tell from the photo's that he was very much loved.
I know little Sonic will be greatly missed.

So sorry about Sonic. :( Those pictures are so sweet. It doesn't take long to get attached to these little guys, so even though you only had Sonic for 6 weeks, I know it must be hard to lose him.

I'm sorry for your loss. :(
I think it was a good idea to do a memorial as you did.

I'm sorry for your loss...he was an unusual looking animal. His red eyes were cool, though.

Perhaps this isn't a proper time to ask, but what is clostridium? You also mentioned BAYTRIL...did you mean BAYTIL? Because my little girl is on that...it causes me to worry.
