Im looking to purchase a digital scale to monitor my animals' weight. Not just for the hedgie, but for any of my pets from dwarf hamster, to guinea pig. What type of digital scale do you use? How much should I expect to pay for a good one?

Look at business supply stores. Staples if you have it, maybe it's just in Canada. I got a digital postal scale. It works great. :)

I bought mine at Walmart in the kitchen supply section. It weighs in grams in grams and oz. up to 5 pounds.

I paid just shy of $50.

My mom was all proud of me because she thought that now that I had a scale I would do more cooking - I then informed her it was for the hedgehogs LOL

That's hilarious. I bought mine from Bed Bath and Beyond for less than $30 I think. I'm not sure how much I paid. Crate and Barrel has one for $30 and amazon.com has many scales ranging from $30 and up.
