The poo face

Have you noticed this : just before a hedgehog will do a poo, there is some signs, like the "stand still position" and the little tail that goes up but there is also "the poo face" ! :laugh:

Kiwi have a very funny expression on her face when she needs "to go". She seems to say to herself : "oh no, I have to poo right now and I am outside of my house ! I hope my "mommy" will not find it out and will not be mad at me ! :rolleyes: :laugh:

Hi Ginger! Was wondering where you were.
When Dar is cuddling with Marco, which he loves to do, he will suddenly go into turbo mode when he has to poop. Odo will poop on the go. She does not stop, just drops one and keeps going. Frodo will go through a little song and dance. Lift his butt and strech out all the way with his tail sticking straight up. Then, afterwards he will look around to see if anyone saw him.

I know the exact face that youre talking about. Bosco looks like he is concentrating so hard when he is going!

They also have a look when they are about to pee (and a stance). After a while, if you pay enough attention to these guys, you will know what they are about to do and will have a lot less surprises.

Peaches gets fidgety. She is so funny. Last time we had her at the vets I knew she had to go but she wouldn't do it while we were in the waiting room. So we got in the examining room and I laid a paper towel on the table and she went. The vet couldn't believe that she had waited for a paper towel. :laugh:

Haha I know what you guys are talking about! I almost feel like we are violating our little babies by talking about their pooping habits. I guess it was possible that our parents did the same thing when we were babies...too funny!! :)

HAHA - this thread really made me laugh!! I have noticed that "look" Razzle has when he is doing his thing. :laugh: It is so cute!! I always feel like he's giving me the evil hedgie eye when I spy on him with a look that says, "Hey Mom, could you give me a little privacy for just one second ? Jeesh!" :laugh:

Wow Nancy -- Peaches' bathroom habits are IMPRESSIVE! I could only dream that Razzle would "wait" until he had the proper place to go.

LOL! I know exactly which face it is you're talking about too. :laugh: I've gotten to the point that I can tell by Pipp's little face and stance that he needs to use the potty. That way I have enough time to rush him to a paper towel or newspaper or SOMETHING other than my lap. lol.

Yeah Indy has that same face. He gets into his four point stance, grimices and thats the warning sign for if hes on your lap to move it or get pooed on.
