Lately I have been wondering about the correct ratios of protein, fats, and carbs for hedgehogs. Not just what it says on cat or hedgie food bags, but what it IDEALLY should be  . I haven't been able to find any REALLY good sources on the web or anywhere else for that matter.
I'm curious to find out what everyone else thinks of this.

This person's website not only give you percentages but they rate some of the food. I don't agree with all their rating numbers, but there percentages are correct.

There used to be figures floating around that were based on actual research by Dr. Graffam, but the person who hosted the site apparently doesn't any more. The two figures I do remember specifically were that hedgies should have around 6% fat and about 15% fiber in their diets. I think the figures supported slightly more carbs than protein, but I can't remember =( Somewhere in my house I have a hard copy from the original lecture the page was based on (from the Go Hog Wild show in 1997), but I have no idea where those things went after our last move =(
