Birthdate deadlines....

I've been thinking about this topic for a while. What constitutes Birthdate deadlines? If you have one chin born at 11:31 pm on lets say February 3rd, 2084, and one born at 12:01 AM... would you consider that kit born at 12:01 AM to be born on the 3rd? Or on the 4th? :confused:

If you put one (11:31 PM) being born on the 3rd and the other (12:01 AM) being born on the 4th, should you make a note of the times they were born?

If the chins were in the same litter I would usually record their births as being on the same day. I hardly think a few minutes matters!
Unless there has been an abnormally long/complicated labour, I will record the birth of a chin on the day the mother went into labour. I dont know what other people think of doing this, it's not something I've really thought about before! :confused:
