Wheel Confusion

Well I got Oda, and she came with a wheel, about 8 inches wire mesh bottom, so that got replaced the next day and never saw her cage, but I put her new wheel in her litter box, for my sanity and she wouldnt touch it. I set her in it, and she jumped out. Well I was cleaning her litter box and set her wheel just against a wall, and what does she do, she jumps on and goes to town, I put it back in the box and its the devil, out of the box again, and its her best friend. It makes no sense, I was starting to think she was against exersise and that I was going to have to make her do sit ups or something. :laugh:

Well yesterday I attempted to put it back in the litter box, and it didnt get spun once. so tonight I put it outside of the litter box, which I am not a big fan of, cause then she will poo in front of the wheel no in the litter box, and she has been on it for almost 3 hours on and off. Oh well I guess I am going to have to leave it out of the litter box or else she doesnt seem to like to wheel. :confused:

Why not keep the litterbox where it is and put a paper towel under and in front of the wheel. All mine have paper towels and it works well for most. :)
