Hey,

Proud *owner* of one very spoiled 6 year old standard male chin, in Winnipeg. *Animal* has been with us for almost 6 years now.

Animal was raised with dogs and house rabbits. So he might have a little bit of an idenity crisis. He spends most of his time out of his cage, and even has his own arm chair! (No one else wants to sit in it, he's chewed the arms all up). He gets away with alot. But we love him to bits.

The newest addition to our family will be arriving next week! A litlte het. beige boy. We plan on naming him Fozzie.

Welcome to Chins-n-Quills, KevRob. I just came back from Winnipeg to Toronto 3 days ago. I think it is a fascinating place. However, it was too cold for me, therefore I admire all the people who can endure those kind of weather. And I got a t-shirt that says "I survived Winterpeg" as a souvenir.

Welcome prerian! I spent a couple of years in the neighboring Saskatchewan (in Regina in fact), so I KNOW the winters there! Brrrrrr! All my sympathies.

look you've made new friends already! love the names....muppets are too cool and my Woodstock was almost named animal...he's a het. beige boy...then I got Snoopy and he is an eb/mosaic...so at least I got my peanuts in order! lol glad you're here!

Yeah, I didn't really think about them being named after muppets. Animal got the name Animal, becasue he is one. A real bouncy crazy little guy. Fozzie, is just so cute, and fuzzy. Fozzie was just the perfect name for him.

But on the muppet theme, my clawed frogs, are named Kermit and Piggy. But that started casue Piggy looks like, well, a pig.

How did you survive last weeks chilly temps? We were freezing down here in Fargo. I ignored what the temps were and I was just glad my old car started! Nice to see someone who isn't too terribly far away.
