first annointing

I have seen Jake annoint before. But this is the first time he has done it with something messy. I gave him a new treat - toddler food diced carrots. He is used to the squishy baby food kind.

He must have enjoyed them because they were gone from the bowl this morning and all over his head. He looked like an 80's punk hedgie. Orange quills all stuck together in clumps on his little head. He is a fashion victim. :cool:

Bosco does the same with peas. Every single time I give them to him he wakes up looking like a green swamp monster the next morning. I have a feeling he ends up with more of it on his quills than in his tummy.

When Kiwi took antibiotics, I had to give her probiotic yogurt (and I was happy that she was loving it) and after eating that, my little piggy has yogurt everywhere near her mouth ! It was so cute ! :love:

I wish that Kiwi self-annoint more ! She only did it 4-5 times !

Punk rock boys! :laugh: Post pictures of those colorful hogs. :) I've been lucky (?) that my girl haven't annointed at all with food, just with our hair. She goes berserk over our hair everytime we take her out. We'd put her on our legs or stomach and inevitably she'd run straight up to our shoulder and starts fervently chewing on our hair. Then, the big Annointing Craze. It doesn't matter what shampoo we use either. We've had some great annointing pictures that way. Hehe.

aww to sweet...The first few times I gave Marigold Mealworms, she would chew on the mealworm spit it out still whole, and anoint herself. Its so cute:D I love it when Hedgies annoint themselfs they look so funny and cute :laugh:...

That is so gross! The poopie feet are bad enough, geez.

Sadly, no pictures. My roomie's digital camera is on the fritz. I took a bunch of cute Jake/Bisa pictures a few weeks ago and the camera ate them. :angry: I am going to have to get a disposable camera and share the love with everyone.
