Yes, Pippin LOVES ham. As long as there isn't any salt or anything weird on it, it's fine to feed. Sometimes though he'll just chew on it and suck out all the juices. Then he spits it out and looks at me like, "Clean it up now!" Haha, picky little guy.

I'd be a little concerned about the salt content, being that ham is a cured meat.
I'm sure that a wee bit wouldn't hurt but just a precaution...

I always give my boys a tiny bit of fresh meat (cooked, and not that prepackaged lunch meat junk) when I have it around. So far the following are all winners: chicken, beef, ham, pork chops, and roast. Turkey always seems to be a big flop- no idea why.

My guys love chicken but won't touch turkey either. Strange wee things our hedgies are. Some like roast beef, some like roast pork. Snow likes ham.

Chloe LOVES meat. Haha, once I was giving her pieces of chicken off of half a bbq chicken (not the red sauce) and evidently I was going too slow because she ran over and started to drag the whole body back to her hedgie bag. lol it was quite the sight to see.
Chloe sits on my lap usually in a blankie or hedgie bag while I eat dinner and she pokes her face out when she smells something she likes. She likes turkey and steak in addition to chicken, maybe I'll let her try some ham soon.

That sounds exactly like my Pippin. That way he gets a variety of food and I have time to eat and interact with him at the same time. He's a little lap hedgie so he absolutely loves it. :)

Bacon is a big hit with my crew. They only get a very small amount and then only less than once a month.
