My first Post

:) hello, this is my first post and I am here to introduce myself. I am studying Biology so i can work with wild animals. I have been observing this site for awhile and am quite impressed with all the help that I have been reading!!! I have two beautiful chinchilla boys, Sir Bizcuit and Gadget. (Also Gidget who is in Chinchilla heaven.) I work at a Petstore and want to make sure people know what they are getting into before they buy these beautiful guys. i have the bug...heheehee. I also have five cats, two rabbits, a few reptiles, frogs, Rats, two egyptian spiny mouse, and a husband..(haha) its great to know there are people out there who feel like i do when it comes to chinchillas...(my husband thinks i am crazy... :laugh: )
hope to get to know everyone and learn as much as i can.

Wow, you have quite the household! With all the inhome experience you should get at least one credit right? Awesome that you are stepping up and doing your homework to inform petowners. Props to you. Good luck w/ the degree and nice to see a new person.

Thanks for the welcomes...sold a chinchilla today and recommended this site as a great way to get information. thanks to this site i know about hairrings and got the word out to all my assocites...(they said ewww... :laugh: I can't belive how many people are so misinformed about animals...i have some stories....whew. (1 person did not know that betta's live in water..they kept dying and she did not know why... :banghead: ) sigh............good to meet everyone!!

Hi there. great to meet ya and what u do at your job is wonderful. the only help we got when we went to the first pet store and asked about chins was. . which was nice but showed us where the books where.
