So in Canada they don't sell Gerber meat sticks... well at least here in Edmonton.
We have the LARGEST MALL!!! yet no meat sticks.. !
hahahaha
anyway... what else can I use. Everytime we eat meat here it is salted or seasoned..

My little boy didn't care for the Gerber meat stix at all, so maybe you're not missing much?
If I am going to cook chicken, I usually cook a very small amount separate for Razzle and leave that plain. Or I cook the whole thing plain and then just season the part that I eat.
Otherwise, jars of babyfood containing meat (chicken with gravy, beef & broth, etc.) work well too.

:slurp: Again, on the subject of food . . . it it doesn't run away fast enough, Jake will eat it. :slurp: He loves him some meat sticks!
As an alternative, I will buy a pack of chicken tenders and wrap them individually in tin foil. Then I can just thaw and cook one at a time as I need them.
You can try tuna too. Just keep an eye out because Ododad told me that some hedgies can be allergic. The problem I have with tuna is that my kitten tries to jump in Jake's cage to eat.

:D Thanks! I love it too. The book always makes me tear up. I am a pre-K teacher, so I read it a lot. My kids look at me like I am crazy when I start to get choked up.
