Quills

I'm a new hedgie mom....so I was wondering if my hedgie should be loosing quills. She's lost quite a few...I'm sooo confused! :confused:

It's normal for young hedgehogs to lose a couple quills a day while they are quilling. How old is she? As long as there aren't any bald patches (other than the one on the top of their heads) She is probably fine. If she is an adult and is losing more than 5-10 quills per day, you should probably take her to the vet.
