This afternoon I came home to find my Missy had passed away. Last night she was fine, we heard her in her wheel last night. This morning before I left for work, she was drinking some water. I don't think she was sick, she seemed fine to me - eating, drinking and she was active. Anyway, I will miss her....

I'm sorry to hear that. Perhaps you should have a neocropsy (sp?) done to find out the cause.

I'm so sorry for your loss and I agree that maybe you should get a neocropsy done. Keep us updated.

Thanks all. The only Vet that handles exotics is about an hour drive from me and I wouldn't have been able to get over that way until the weekend. We decided to have a quiet burial here at home. Missy was loved, and I want to think that it was just her time to go and have the fond memories of her while she was with us. I had her for about a year and when I got her she was already 2 or 3 years old.
My DD has already asked if I wanted another, and I told her not right now. Maybe down the road.
