Whether or not to get another

I've been teetering back and forth about whether to get another hedgehog. At first I wasn't going to get another at all. I was dead set against it. I was going to try sugar gliders or maybe rats. Then I keep coming home to my empty cage and seeing all the cute pictures posted here and I thought, well maybe in a few months I can get a hedgehog. My mother is against the idea. (Mainy because of how upset I get when the die.)

However, I just got an excellent job that pays me considerably more and I think I might congratulate myself with a hedgehog. So despite my decision not to have any more hedgehogs, (who was I kidding anyways? Like that was going to happen.) I'm probably getting another one fairly soon.

Congrats :) Honestly, I personally get very upset when any of my pets die, it doesn't matter what breed. Plus, hedgehogs are so irresistable!

Funny that your hedgie is going to be a "reward" for you, that's how i came about getting Molly. I had some extra money saved up from my new job and thought that it was time to invest in all the research i had done and save the little hedgie at the pet shop. I know the pet store probly wasn't the best place to get one, but she was healthy when i got her (cant really say that now...she's got a tumor, obviously not pet store related tho).

Stop thinking and just go for it! :)

I've got some prickles headed my way February 12th. I'm getting a girlie black eye white and a rich apricot femme.

Yes, but it seemed more cost efficient to get both. I was going to get just the black eyed white, and the lady was telling me about the other hedgehogs she had available (my friend is getting one too, we're going to split the shipping.) .. so when she mentioned the apricot ... well I couldn't resist.
