New Hedgehog!

Hey Everybody!
Today my brother got a hedgehog! We're so excited! He's such an adorable little hoglet and loves to explore. We've named him Skittles. I'll try to get some pictures soon. (He moves so fast it's hard to get a good shot of him.) We think he's an Algerian grey, but we're not sure. Maybe you guys can tell us what color you think he is once I post a picture.
By the way, is there something we can do to help him learn how to use his exercise wheel? He didn't have one at his old home so he probably doesn't know what it's for. And so far all he's done with the wheel is burrow under it. Cute, but not quite what the wheel is meant for...

Congrats! The wheeling should come in time. Some hedgies take a while to get used to it. Can't wait to see pictures! :)

Congrats! Can't wait to see the little tyke. He will learn to use his wheel all in good time. It took Odo about three weeks before she figured out what it was for. She also just slept under it. In fact, she still does!
