Hey everyone!
My boyfriend and I have decided to start eating healthier and doing more cooking instead of eating out.
We want to find a good cookbook with easy, relatively fast recipes that are pretty healthy, too! Problem is, we don't know very many recipes and we're getting tired of the same old stuff already!

Does anyone have some good titles of cookbooks that might help us out?

I'll be looking on Amazon.com, etc, too, but I wanted to see if anyone had favorites in the cookbook department!

Thank you!

Weight Watchers has a lot of good cookbooks. There is one that is called something like "5 Ingredients, 15 Minutes." Some of the recipes have more than 5 ingredients but they take 15 minutes (or vice versa). Good stuff.

I can't recall the author but there is a woman who does Health Cooking for Two. If you aren't big on leftovers, this is nice. You can easily double stuff, of course.

Oh! Kathleen Daelmanns (sp?). She's got 2 good books.

Best of luck!

Thanks a ton, I'll look into them! I made a low-fat/calorie orange chicken last night, and it was great! Yay !

Easy Exotic by Padma Lakshmi is another favorite of mine. Padma is a model (she recently married Salman Rushdie) and used to host The Melting Pot on Food Network. The book features recipes from Europe (like Italy, France, Spain), Morocco, India, China... Really good stuff and EASY!

Also check out www.dwlz.com. It's a weight loss message board (you don't have to join, of course!); there are TONS AND TONS of recipes there.
