How come when it is bath time my pig loves me...
I have two pigs and the boy is very tempermental doesnt seem to enjoy humans too much though i try to change his mind and have been trying for almost 2 years now...sooo exhausting...but none the less he is cute
anyway he is always huffing doesn't like to be pet or cuddeld though he will sit on my lap so long as i dont acknowledge his existence...well for bath time i plop both pigs in together and i dont know if it is the company of another pig or the water but he loves me...i can actually pet his tummy and everything...but as soon as the water stops its HUFF HUFF
anyone else have a crazy pig that seems tamed by water? maybe i will have to install a water fall in the livingroom and the sound of it might be enough for him to love me!!

Mine does that too, sort of. He hates having his face and belly touched. When I plop him into the water, he tries to climb out, but he's not long enough. In the bath, I am able to touch him anywhere, which I guess is good, so I can clean him easier. It is also a lot to grab his paws to clip his nails in the water. He knows not to flatten to the ground or curl up because the water is there and he does not want to breath it in. I guess thats why they are like that; they are to preoccupied with hating water to care if they are touched.

All of mine are so interested in getting out of the water, that they don't really care what I do to them at the time!

Same here. All Razzle does is try to run up the side of the slippery sink. (It works out great though since all that running gets the poo off his feet). I can very easily wash him anywhere and he doesn't care. He associates me touching him with getting out the water!!

With Shadow, the only way to clip her nails, is to fill up the sink with water and plop her in, then she won't curl up and I can pull her back skin back so that she cannot curl up into a ball, then my mom will hold her feet while I do the clipping. I think once their attention is diverted by the water and getting a bath, they just want out and forget about being all huffy puffy. At least Shadow seems that way.

Juni's the same way too, spends his time trying to get out of the water and lets us touch him anywhere...he also is so much more cuddly afterward...well, at first he's a little hyper, but once we get him snuggled up in the nice warm towel, he just goes to sleep on one of us and keeps cuddling even after he wakes up.

As soon as Fetus is in the same room as the bath he'll un curl and run around (stopping to anoint with carpet). So he does injoy the bath very much.. Popples doesn't care for it.
