Taria went to school!!!

My mom is a psa, and she wanted me to bring in Taria to show teh class when i had spare time. i was finished my exams, so i said, sure whynot. so we packed up Taria's cage, and off we went on monday!! She was such a sweetheart!! the kids were a bit noisy, but she let them pet her without huffing, or puffing, or making and fuss!! i was so proud of her! So yesterday, she almost had the day to herself, but i took her out, and she slept in my pocket, again!!

no, i wish we did, we even had the camera, but we forgot to take some, she might go back at the end of the year, so maybe we'll have pics then

I bet those would be some great pics :D ..just make sure you have permission form the students parents to post their pictures :) (we don;t want to get into trouble now do we)..hehehe ..you can probably get a permission form sent home to whom ever is in the pictures you are going to post :)..just an idea.I remember when I did co-op the students had to have forms signed when their photos were being poted on the internet about a class assignment they were doing :) you might want to look inot that before you post any pictures :)

I took Heidi to my little brothers classroom (grade 1) to let them play with her. They were very well behaved. Other people were there with chinnies, lizards annd frogs because it was wild animal week. Heidi was very well behaved (no snurfling, balling, biting, etc...) and she even showed them how she self annoints, which probably startled the children.

My little herd has been invited to several schools and even an retirement center. I haven't made up my mind to do this yet though. Dar is really good at public speaking, I would just be the animal handler!!lol
