Ary's all of a sudden gone crazy...we played with him as usual and put him back in his cage, i left the room and came back. when i came back he was under the liner and scrambling around frantically. I took him out and he tried to jump out of my hands and he's squeaking like mad. Now he's running around frantically. what's going on? should i take him to the vet? there aren't any storm warnings or anything...

Hmm, he is something wrapped on his foot or something?

Yikes, I would check him all over to see if he has any cuts or other things that may be causing him to be in pain or distress. If you don't find anything of the sort, I have no idea what to do. Good luck, keep us updated.

I've looked him over pretty well, I don't see any visible cuts or problems but he's still spazzing out! I put his wheel in front of him and he started running like never before. Could it have been a bad mealy? He was playing around in a stack of junk-mail.... I don't know! He's acting like he smells a sidewinder or something.

Hmm, maybe he is just very excited  I'd keep an eye on him.

Don't worry, a shot or two of whiskey in the water dish should calm him right down.
KIDDING!
Really, as long as you don't see anything obviously wrong just keep an eye on him. Did you double check his little toes for strings? Try turning on all the lights. Jake always hides when the lights are on. Shuts him right up.
