My hedgie, Fetus, uses his 'toilet' very well.. The other day I was watching him and he did his normal scratching around in the litter. He oviously thought his bum was in the litter box... But NO it wasn't all of his paws were in the box but his little (actually rather big) bum was hanging over the edge.. then he went.. and just walked away like he normal does.. Silly hedgie! Look where you are going :laugh:
As for Popples.. haha.. he just goes to his litter box then when he starts to poo he starts walking around his cage :eek: what a messy boy!
