My last day of work was 04 Feb. I am already inclined to let Quest do whatever her heart desires. That entails either running free/in the ball or napping in my/Jan's lap. Is there such a thing as too much attention? She already "beggs" (scratches on the cage & is readily picked up) for attention/to be let to run free (never prickles or bites unless surprised). When she's ready for a nap she climbs the couch & burrows unto either my or Jan's hair. Help.
Inclined to facination & spoiling,
M

I would let her have at it in the evening hours. Quest is still a baby and does need her rest and quiet time during the day :)

I'd put Quest back in the cage when she gets sleepy- she'd get a better quality sleep with less to disturbe her. And you want to make sure she has some in-cage play time to get used to her cage and to start associating it with positive things, not just the end of playtime. I think a hedgie should enjoy being in their cage as much as out of it.
