First--there are new pictures in my gallery ( linked in my signature ) of the baby...

Second--I'm about 95% sure that the baby isn't a boy after all... Guy I got 'him' from said the litter was all male... but... I'm almost completely positive ( judging by the research I've done and consulting with Jenn ) that little 'Howie' is actually a little girl... so now she needs a new name! Sigh!

She got her new cage tonight though--new fleece lining, little fleece blankie for inside her igloo--she's happy as can be. She only comes out when it's pitch black in my room, so I feel bad for staying up late! I hope it doesn't mess with her schedule too much. I can't believe how responsive she is to my voice, and how quickly she is to unball and relax once I manage to pick her up--usually having to do so with a towel, because she huffs and balls up otherwise; but once I've got a hold of her she's fine! Silly thing.

Oh she is just so adorable! Sorry I don't have any name suggestions, good luck finding a new name.

Does "Howie" have a belly button in the middle of his tummy? That's one way to know for sure he's a boy. If you have trouble looking at his stomach, try putting him in a clear glass dish so you can look from underneath :)

I liked the new photo's. Thank you! :)

I have a nightlight in the hedgie room. It dosen't give out enough light to bother hedgies, but I can still see to check on them.

Thank you Carolyn...

Tawana, no, not that I can tell at all. I tried taking a picture of her tummy, and these (http://pictures.greatestjournal.com/userimg/3222406/790652) were (http://pictures.greatestjournal.com/userimg/3222407/790652) the best I could do.

Ododad... You're welcome! And I was thinking of doing that but I have nowhere to plug one in! Oh well.

How about Halima? It means Gentle & Kind in Swahili & it's close to Howie.

Yep, you have a baby girl there. You could name her . . . Tricia? ;) My mom thought it was a lovely name.
