New hedgie color

Well, I'm very excited about our new addition! :love: I didn't realize how much fun hedgehogs are to watch and visit with. She is still sleeping a lot, and I can't wait to watch her get more active as she gets adjusted. I'm impressed with how friendly she already is when I handle her. I'm not sure what color she is though, and figured someone here could tell me. Thanks for the help!

Yeah, I just can't get enough of my adorable little pets! She was so cute and friendly I couldn't resist buying her. No hedgie breeding here though, this little girl will just be my special little pet. :cool:

Thanks Julie! Based on descriptions on that site, I agree with you Deneen, she looks chocolate. Her nose is not black, I suppose "dark liver" would describe it, and her quills are banded by dark brown. I think she's very pretty. Is there such a thing as "standard" color, and if so, what is that?
