Hey guys. I know I havnt been on much, but I have been SO bussy. Well I know some one, who knows some one who's wife works in a school. A class there had a hedgehog as a class pet. Well, as you can imagine what little kids could teach a hedgie like. She bit someone so they had to get rid of her fast. I took her. Cage, treats, food, and bedding for free. She's 18 months old and HUGE. A dark chocolate brown color with white quills. She's kinda gumpy but I cant blame her. I will be slow with her. John says we should introduce her to Akira in a week or so. Any ideas or comments on this? Thanx guys.
Jenn
PS
Name ideas? Pics to come soon.

It's not that she's that fat. I mean she is a little. But body size. about 7inches long. REALLY shy and grumpy.

Well I'm glad she found her way into a quieter and more loving home :) I can't wait to see pics. I have no name suggestions :( at least not for girls...

Congrats on your new girl. Give her some time to get to know you and her new surroundings- Im sure she will come around :) Im sure that you will provide her with a wonderful new home, and that she will be a much happier hog in no time!
Pictures are definently needed :) Im sure that a name will come to you as you get to know her and her personality more. Didnt the classroom she came from have a name for her? If not, that is so sad :(

First of all, congrats are in order and bless you for opening your home and heart to a needy hedgie.
Marco was a school project also. He had been terrorized something horrible and it took a tremendous about of love and patience from Dar (he didn't want anything to do with me) to become the loving cuddle bug that he is now. Even now though, he is VERY timid and shy. You may have a long road to travel here, so be patient with her, she needs all the love you can give her!
Please keep us updated on her and post photo's when you can!
