My guys love Purrr wellness and wysong canned cat food. All three are low in fat and have real meat as one of the first few ingredients. I put a small chunk of it (usually whatever is on sale, but I try to switch the flavour every once in a while) on top of their dry food and then sprinkle some of those special 8in1 Hedgehog treats over top. They usually eat the wet food, but they don't always eat the treats aswell.

I would be very cautious about feeding the treat foods formulated for hedgehogs, such as 8n1. They contain foods that are notorius for getting stuck to the top of hedgie mouths (i.e. peanuts, sunflower seeds, raisins). Not worth it at all in my opinion.

true enough... and the cat treats are probly alot cheaper too, what do you think about a 1/4 or 1/2 tesspoon of cat food daily with the noraml hard stuff?

I would rotate the canned food in with other foods each night in addition to the dry kibble. For example:
Mon-1/2 tsp canned cat food
Tues- 1/2 tsp mixed frozen vegetables (my herd hates veggies, but I keep on trying!)
Wed- 2-3 crickets or mealies (I feed freeze dried mostly and live mealies on occasion)
Thurs-a few cubes of diced baked, unseasoned chicken/turkey breast
Fri- 1 T. fruit baby food (my herd likes apple, banana, pear)
Sat- 1 T veggie baby food ( my herd likes green beans, sweet potato, peas)
Sun. 1 tsp microwaved scrambled eggs (cooked in microwave, no oil)
I will also rotate in a bit of fruit flavored yogurt or cottage cheese.
These are just what I feed. I will offer a little bit more of the foods I know they will eat. Just keep an eye on the poops and you'll be able to tell if it's agreeable or not
