Mealworms?

I finally got the courage to get Taria some Mealworms, she likes them, but she only likes the dead crunchy ones??? i put a deadone and a live one in her food dish last night, and the live one is still there!! is this normal and should i be feeding her the dead ones????

Try cutting their heads off and letting their insides ooze out a little. This way, not only are they dead and possibly more appealing to her, but the smell might be more attractive to her. I know my Zeek can't resist!

Actually this is a good idea to try. It's how I got Marco to eat them. Now he eats them live.

I feed freeze dried mealies and my herd eats them pretty well. If you thought chopping heads off mealies was hard, try injecting them with meds so your sick hog will take her meds :)
