Quest is now 11 weeks old and she is growing so fast. Along with her overall body size her girth seems to be expanding as well. She can still ball and is very quick when she's out exploring but I don't have a good idea of too little or too much food. Thank goodness I have you all. I put 1/4 cup of dry food (3/4 Pretty Pets & 1/4 Spike's Delite Chicken and Rice) in her bowl and she'll eat most of it by the next day. Then I offer her treats (cooked beef, asparagus, and broccoli) which she really only is interested every coupld of days. She gets to run around free 15-20 minutes a day and she is using her wheel though I don't know how much because she only uses it after all activity in the house has ceased. I don't want her to be a pudginator.

I wouldn't be too worried. Quest is still a baby and will burn off all those extra calories. :)

I would gradually phase out the pretty pets and replace it with a high quality cat food, Royal Canin Slim 37 or 38, or Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul seem to be pretty widely recommended, and Pretty Pets is not recommended at all...otherwise the quantity sounds good, that's about what I feed Juni a day too...and yeah, she's young and growing, don't worry too much about it right now...

Thanks so much. I know I'm an overworried mom sometimes but I just want the best for her.

I wouldn't say you were overworried. I would say you want the best for your hedgie and are determined to find out. I call that being an excellent mom.
