We've lost two hedgies today

Needles and Pringle. They are crossing the rainbow bridge in search of treats and warm dark hiding places. Everytime we lose a hedgie here, I get a huge lump in my throat and everything gets blurry and it's hard to see to type.
I am going now to hold each one of my hedgies and offer up a prayer for Needles and Pringle. Maybe each of us should give a little extra love tonight to our hedgies. At one time or another, we're going to lose them. And it's going to hurt.

:cry: I have never cried while reading posts on this site until today. Both left me with tears streaming down my face. I will certainly be thinking of both pairs of hedgies and owners. Chloe will get tons of snuggles tonight.

Pringle was laid to rest after a battle with WHS.
Needles fought bravely but lost the fight against an infection.
