Teehehe  I went to Wal-Mart... Since I decided not to buy another hedgie or to breed, I had extra money... General buy stuff you don't need, that doesn't last, or you saw on television kind of shopping.

When I was all done and went to check out... The cashier gave me a funny look and said... "I know what kind of person you are..." :| Strange kind of people those cashiers can be, ;) .

She said, "All you have is plants, animal toys and bathroom supplies... You must love your pets and have to be a most hygenic person." :applause:

Yep... I didn't realize it but when I got up to the counter I had 6 plants, a ton of new animal toys and the rest was bathroom, personal care stuff... And that's what I consider "fun" shopping, lol.

I must be a strange person, hehe. But my animals and I are quite happy with the results of a shopping spree. I never seen cats go nutz over catnip (never had a cat before) or Chunk when he got his rattle toys...

If he keeps playing with them toys the way he has been... he's not going to be my fluffy guy anymore! He's gonna be buff... :D

I usually get the same reaction when I'm buying fruits and veggies for my hogs and gliders. I buy in small quantities a couple times a week like 10 grapes, 4 cherries, a small kiwi, etc. They usually tell me that it's alright to get the whole bunch. Then they give me a strange look when I explain that it's not for me, but for my "children" ;)

Sounds like an interesting time..thats 'fun' shopping for me too :) I love to go shopping for my pets, I especially love to go to the pet store(an actual good one) and see all the animals and see what I can convince my Fiance to bring home

Does Chunk (that's your hedgehog?) play with baby rattles of toys that have a rattle sound in it?

I do EXACTLY the same thing for my gliders... Few grapes, one apple, one orange, couple of this, couple of that... Cashiers are like:  :| LOL!

Hmmm, Chunk isn't big on alot of the toys I buy him. He'd much prefer the toilet paper rolls and empty kleenex boxes, . But I did have a cat toy that rattled and had stars in the middle that would spin. I stepped on it and broke it. So I picked off the stars and beads and pulled the post out and gave him the little tinkle disks that were on the ends. He loves them. He'll litterally fight you for them...

But other tinkle toys he doesn't like. I found plain leather mice (not the once with the hair on them) which have tinkles inside. He loves those to death too. Hehe.
