Effective immediately:
Due to the increased numbers of threads containing spam, all "newbie" members (starting with those who have registered today) will be automatically put on "moderated status" until further notice. Moderated status means your posts or threads have to be approved by a moderator before it will become visible to others on CnQ. Once it is determined that you are a legit member, you will have full access to the forums. Sorry for any inconviences. Questions can be directed towards the moderators.

I don't think I've ever been spammed by, through or because of CnQ, but if other people are, yeah, help weed out the garbage. Always learning new tricks, that spam.

Will this also put a stop to new members targetting people online with their advertisement emails?
Thank you.

I don't believe we ever had that problem with this site. All emails from anyone at CnQ is sent through CnQ...we do not sell or give out your email address.

I'm not sure if this is what foaxs04 is talking about, but I believe they might be refering to PM's being sent out to "all memebers online" at the same time as particular "newbies" seeking buyers for various chins instead of just posting a thread and waiting for responses?

Yes bgbutterfly, that is exactly what I am talking about. I find it very irritating. I have had it happen to me a couple of times. Is there any way to stop this other than blocking all private messages to myself? Thank you both for your responses, alpayton and bgbutterfly.
