Sleeping: Quest just turned 13 weeks old and she is still sleeping most of the time. We get her out for floor & socialization time for 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening. The rest of the time she is sleeping, waking briefly only to eat. I know she is sporatically using the wheel because 3-4 times a week I wake to poo incrusted wheel. :applause: I know she's in a growing stage but how much should she be sleeping? She is eating, deficating (a lot) and urinating. She sleeps totally stretched out so I don't think she's hibrinating (the room stays at 70 all the time).
Eating: She's eating about 1/4 cup Spike's Delite Chicken and Rice a day (free feeding) with either a 1/2 meat stick or 1/2 tsp baby food of some kind (left for 15 minutes at a time). Her tummy and little feet seem a bit sweaty. I hadn't noticed if they are usually like this or if it's a new thing. Let me know if you think it's just growing or I should be concerned.

Don't know much about baby hedgehogs but the room temperature should be nearer to 75. The ideal range is 72-80 I believe I've read on here.

If the room temp is at 70 you're fine. You may want to supplement with a heat lamp or something though.
Babies sleep alot. So don't be worried.

Really, gosh I have been paranoid since getting Daisy. I asked alot of questions on here before getting her and the general consensus was keep it above 74. So is it ok for it to go nearer 70?

Technically between 70-78 would work, but some hedgies will attempt to hibernate if its below 74

Ok nice to know I have been keeping the room around Daisy at or between 74-76.

Shirley, you're right. 70 is too low for hedgies. Some might be ok with it but most are not. :)

Ernie wasnt very active in the evening...I started playing with her around 10 or so. She is active from around 1 am to 6-7am! She isnt that active now since the babies...she eats at around 9 and I play with her and the babies about 10-15 minutes each. She wakes up around 1 am now and goes to sleep around 3 or so.

I agree that 70 is to low for most hedgies. I panic when the temps drop below 75.
Babies do sleep more then adults, but you also need to know that some hedgies only get up in the middle of the night. If I didn't wake Kallie at around 10 for some socialization I would never see her. Her ideal hours for being awake are from 2am-6am. The rest of the time she will just sleep with the occassional stir for her afternoon snack.:slurp:
Dillon's hours where 11pm-3am.
Hope that helps some.:)
