I'm getting my hh in a couple of months from a breeder not far from me, I don't know what he is feeding but I'd eventually like to change over to royal canin 38(slim) but I hear its best to mix 2 or 3 foods to make sure what he isn't getting from one food he'll get from the other but I cannot get anything like buffalo blue, csftcls, wellness or wysong, I've heard of people using eukanuba and Pogstar.com has give i a 4/5 star rating.

My initial response is to contact the breeder and A) find out what he's feeding and what he recommends and also ask him to B) put you in touch with other people who have hedgies in your area - some of them will likely have branched out in their feeding decisions and might have leads on where to get some of the harder-to-find brands.

I've no idea about the shipping costs overseas, but I get most of my food online, through http://www.petfooddirect.com - though you might have better luck finding a source in the Commonwealth countries - and I know that Hill's pet food is available in the UK, though that may be available only through a vet. Those are just my random thoughts for the moment. Laura
