Update

Just wanted to update all of you. I felt that I handled the fact that I had to put Pringle to sleep pretty well. I cried a lot of week of, day of, and the day after, but handled it well the rest of the week. It hit me last night when I was watching Survivor b\c I would always lay with Pringle and rub his back while I was watching tv. I started to cry and then realized that it was a week yesterday that I had to put him to sleep. I had Pringle cremated and am going to set up a small memorial in my room with his favorite house. I had a weird feeling today and felt that I should call home to see if the vet called. I didnt, but when I got home, my stepdad told me I had a message. It was the vet saying that Pringle was there and I could go get him whenever was convenient. I think this is so cool b\c it is reassuring that these little guys do communicate with us in many ways. :love:

Im glad you are handling it so well! Pringles will always be in our prayers. Have you decided when you will be getting another one? Animals do talk to us in SO many ways!

I think I may be ready for one in about another month or two. I really needed to devote a lot of extra time to Pringle when he became sick. Not that I minded at all, but it just took a lot out of me with work and everything. Now, that I will have him back, I can take some time to really, and truly come to terms with what happened. I cant believe this all happened a week ago. It feels like it has been a month already. I know that I am on the right path because I canr ead this forum and help other that may be experiencing the same thing I did without feeling sad or upset. It makes me feel good, so I know I am headed in the right direction. Pringle would want me to help your hedgies and another one of my own. He was such a little monkey!! :D

Pringles mom I jst wanted to tell you that you are in my prayers and my Heart really goes out to. What a terrible thing for. I wish there was something I could do or say to make you feel better. Pringle will always be Remember!

Thanks a lot. I am going to pick him up at the vet today and set up a small memorial. This will make the whole situation final (procedure wise) and I can focus on how he is healthy now and better off in hedgie heaven :)
