It's been a year since you've been gone. I miss you, and the dogs miss dragging you about by the scruff of your neck. I miss watching you allow them to do this because, for a cat, you enjoyed spending time with the dogs, and you loved each of them more than any of the humans in our family. You would have liked the chinchillas, but in a way the only way Thora, and consequently the other 3, could come into our family was because you had passed. I remember the day I chose you at the SPCA, and how I allowed you 7 cage-free years before you left me. It's been a strange year Amy, and you have always been on my mind. I haven't replaced you in any way with any other cat, so you know, and I never will. I miss you.

Tragically killed by a coyote upon escape from the house one winters night.
