I found this neat website:
http://www.geocities.com/ukhedgehogs/indian-long-ears.htm
It has info on the long eared hedgehogs. I don't think they're very cute. But I do think the dark coloring is neat. If you were to interbreed this hedgehog with out hedgehog I bet it would create a black hedgehog with the cuter face of the white bellied/algerian cross. A true salt and pepper!

I think they're adorable, just different than we are used to. I would love to have one. :)

I don't think that they can interbreed with our hedgehogs. Not as closely related as the white bellied and algerian hedgehogs. And I think they are adorable, though they remind me of the chupacabra legends. ;)

If you're England you could buy one for only 350 pounds. ouch

Aw I love their ears, it give them a quirky mischevious look. Like they have something up their sleeve. (if they had sleeves, eh you know what I mean)

Aww, how can you say that they are adorable, well I think so, I'm sure Mark the owner would have to agree with me, he is who I'm getting my hdgehog off in late April early May:D

Aw, I too think they are cute! When I was in the UK and I went to a rescue and played with the babies I wanted to take them all home...TOO CUTE! So we think our hedgies are expensive, how about a $700 hedgie! That is what 350 pounds is...CRAZY! :)

oh my god, that is soooo expensive, I would be divored, if I ever spent that much on a "rat with spikes" as my husband calls them. He is sooo ignorant, and just does not understand them. I actually think he is afraid of them.
