I have way too much time on my hands. I was looking for a sewing pattern to make a hedgehog and found this page (http://www.murrieta.k12.ca.us/alta/dfuller/animals/hedgehog.html) it has some hedgie related projects and stuff. I especially liked the coloring costumes (http://www.janbrett.com/costumes_main_choice.htm).

Shirley...great site and I actually bookmarked it as I am a pre-school teacher and I think I will do a curriculum on Hedgehogs now.:)
One of the problems I did see while I was quickly going through it, was the "Facts about Hedgehogs" section...This can be very mis-leading for someone who is learning about these critters.
Tell me what you think! :)
3. A hedgehog is a nocturnal animal meaning it sleeps during the day and is awake and active during the night. In the winter months, November to March, it passes into a state of hibernation when it rolls up into a ball in a nest.It will awaken on warm days to feed and drink water.

It may be talking about wild hedgehogs, but it looks to me like this is an African hedgehog..like the ones we have as pets.
