Hello there,
I have and albino hedgehog in a nice rabbit cage. He is set up with a shelf and a ramp to go up on it and the door opens from the top.
Well one day my son did not latch the door and my little Jack snuck out. He went for a pretty long walk because he was nowhere to be found. We searched the house high and low, turned the couch upsitedown and could not find him. A week later still no Jack. One day I had 4 kids in my house playing with my son. They were really getting on my ... So I told them to go and play in the basement with their toys. I think they made quite a bit of noise. Jack came out from his hiding place and we finally found him alive! I was so releived to find him I even kissed him. He was a little weak, thin and his feet were bleu, but now after 3 weeks he eats and drinks like a pig and is doing fine.
Just wanted to share this story to say that hedgehogs are tough little guys.
