Hello there,

For everyone to read I am new here but want to share my story actually Jack's story. Jack is my little male albino. I have him in a big rabbit cage with different steps he could climb on and I think is loves it.

One day when I was checking his cage to clean it up I saw that Jack was not there. Panic attack where could he be I have a 4 story house and lots of places for him to hide. Well I turned the house inside out and upside down, turned the couched upsidedown to see if he would be in them. Beleive me I checked everywhere. I found out that my son that is not allowed to even come near my hedgehog must of left the door unlatched. I went crazy. A week went by and no Jack, where could he be ???

One day my son had 3 of his friends over and they were making noise so I told them to go and play in the basement. To my surprise after a whole week went by they saw Jack walking across the floor. He was skinny weak and his paws were bleu but he was still alive.

Now three weeks later he is pink, his eyes are red like ruby and he eats and drinks like a pig. I am so happy to see him back in his cage.

The moral of this story, make sure the door is properly latched because they are able to push on them and escape. This is the first time I ever kissed a hedgehog !!!

I am very happy to hear that Jack is safe and sound, but didn't I just read this same story in the post below this one only with a different title?
