I went downstairs to feed my chins and found the door to Misty and Sierra's cage open. I looked in their cage and found that Sierra isn't in there. I guess I left the door open when I fed them last night.

Last night I went in the backyard to brush the snow off the satellite and left the sliding glass door open for a few seconds, and I'm guessing that Sierra went out the door. She took a dust bath before she left us and went to Chinny Land.

I have searched my WHOLE house twice. I'm guessing that Sierra is outside. She could be ANYWHERE!!!!! :(

Sierra, I will miss you very much

Is there anything I can do?

Try closing each room off and put a fust bath in each room for the night along with a bowl of food with a raisin on top, you would be amazed at where they can hide, she may still be in the house. If you can figure out which room you can find her.

I know it was an accident, but you should really try to be more careful. I hate to say..if she did get out, there is really not much chance of finding her. If she is still in the house, than that is great. Like starleomach said..dust bath and food should attract them. Check in the morning to see if any of the food is gone in the bowl...then you will know. I wish you luck.

I was so scared last night that I thought that she had gotten outside. It turns out that she was in the basement the whole time. I put out dust baths and raisins and found her paw prints and the raisins gone. I found where she was hiding this afternoon and cornered her. She is now safe and sound with Misty. I am SO GLAD. :D Thanks for the ideas.

*sigh of relief* That's WONDERFUL... I once had my lil' chin get out of her excercise ball in the house w/ all 4 cats out... I just about died, but my brother came to the rescue!
Don't you just love happy endings!:D
