Well As most of you know from my post in the rescue section, me and a friend of mine are rescueing 2 female hedgehogs from the pet store near my house. I will be keeping on and him taking the other :) well we had a little set back but we put a deposit on them, and they are holding them untill we get the rest of the money together. And I was told I can come and see them when ever I want and hold them..so you better bet it I am going there as much as I can to make sure they are doing alright and that way I can start handling them to help them become a little bit more friendly then they are and to tell you the truth they aren't really all that bad actually :)

We should be able to pick them up in 2 weeks :) I am very excited and cannot wait to bring my little girl home..I"ll be sure to post lots of pictures! cause I know how much we all love pictures:D I am so excited and cannot wait to get the 2 girls out of that petstore and into their new homes

It seems like I am on a roll, as you will se in my post in the other pets section , in my post "Stupid People..I"m so mad  " that today I found and rescued a pregnant cat , and my sister is looking after her right now :) It feels wonderful to help animals in need :) ..I think I'll have to keep this up

congrats! I'm lucky that the pet store around here doesn't sell hedgehogs!

Yay, two more hedgies to loving homes! :applause:

I would love to rescue and rehome animals, unfortunately my parents don't want anymore animals (Pierre has become a bit of a terror lately and he is a handful!) I'll just hafta wait till I move out I suppose....
You are doing a wonderful thing! Congrats on the new baby.

Just a little update :) I went to see the 2 girls at the pet store today and handled them both :D they are great:), and doing wondeful, they will be home in about 1 more week :applause: I also went to see my 7 year old nephew (Carter) today and was telling him about my new little girl, so I decided to ask him what he thought I should name her..this is so cute and it was actually the first name he said..so I love the name and am using it ..The name is priscilla..and it was so cute.. I asked him "what do you think her name should be Carter?" and he replied "name her priscilla auntie for priscilla the princess"..he is such a sweetheart :D so my new girl is Priscilla (or Priscilla the princess to my nephew) :D

I know ..My nephew is especially great;) he is 7 yrs old but only the size of a 3-4yr old, so he is so very adorable :) I just love him to death..he has what is called russell silver syndrome (a form of dwarfism) so he will be lucky to grow up to 4 feet att he most, he is an extra special little guy :D. .. But I have to admit I love all my neices and nephews equal (all 5 of them) :D they are all wonderful kids..but possibly I am a bit bias  since they are my neices and nephews :)

3 more days!.. I'm so excited, I went to see them again and it seems like they really are just gettting even grumpier each time I go to see them :( I hope I will be able to work with them both enough when I bring them home as I have alot going on this month.. new chinny comeing home hopefully tomorrow(wednesday) :D Yay, 2 hedgehog rescues coming home friday(one just staying here a short period of time the other here forever) :D and All this is in the midst of packing and getting ready to move, I am moving the end of this month and I still have alot of stuff to do before hand... I guess I'll just work with them later at night and as much as I can I"m sure some handing will be better than none ..right??

If any one can suggest anything to help make them friendlier that would be great :) I have already dealt with a shy/grumpy hedgehog, and she is doing so much better now, but I'm always up for new ideas and suggestions :)

I also just wanted to say "THANK YOU!" to all who have supported and helped me since I joined this forum :) I have met alot of very wonderful people on here, and I Must say you have all made me feel so welcome and helped me an awful lot..thanks so much all :D
