I was searching for glass water bottles, and I came across a few in the classifieds. So I inquired about them on 12-29-04, and this person said they were available. After a few PM's and figuring out all the shipping and etc. I ended up sending paypal payment for six glass bottles on 01-01-05. After that, I didn't hear back from that person. So I send another PM on 01-19-05 asking if they were shipped yet or not. Still no reply, so I wait a few more days. Sending another PM on 01-25-05, asking if they bottles were sent yet, and if they weren't I would like a full refund. Because I've ordered other glass bottles, and they had already arrived. And then I finally get a a reply the next day on 01-26-05, saying that they just now got the paypal payment?! When after I sent the payment I got a reciept in my email, and on my bank statement the money was taken out on the third. Now a little ticked off, I send her back a PM expressing how strange it is since paypal usually is an instant payment. Especially because I've sent two previous PM that were not answered, and it wasn't until I stated I want a refund that I get a response. They replies back, saying that they contacted paypal, and that it was paypal having some issues. I then reply back, saying if the bottle's were ready to be shipped out. I might as well take them, since I've paid for them already. So they say on 01-27-05 that they're going to ship them out by DHL, and that they'll PM me back with a tracking number. I let them know, that it was fine. But again, did not hear back, nor did I get a tracking number. So again, I PM this person on 02-10-05 to ask about the bottles and if they have been shipped. Considering it's been bout two weeks since I've last heard anything, and I did not recieve them yet. I'm starting to get ticked off. Especially since I checked, and this person has been signed on at the forum a few times. So, I again, send another PM asking once again if the bottles were sent, and if they have a tracking number, if not I would like a refund. I finally do get a respond. And they state that they were damaged and returned by UPS when she tried to ship them to me. So a new batch of bottles are going be to be sent out by DHL, and arrive by friday. Again, this was THREE weeks ago, and I still did not receive anything nor have I gotten any responses to my PM’s. This person has chosen to ignore my PM’s and Emails. Through all the previous PM’s and what not, they claimed to have a bunch of family emergencies, and mishaps that has happened. But even so, I’ve ordered and paid for these bottles in the beginning of January, that’s no excuse for them not to have arrived by now and not to answer any of my PM’s.
The total only came out to $35.80, it’s not that much, and I’m willing to take it as a loss. But I’m just upset over the bad business practices that this person has choose, to ignore all my PM’s and not give me any information on what’s going on. I tried to be nice, and wait a few days every time she gave me an excuse. But now.. it’s too late, and the money’s already taken out of my checking, and I can’t report it to paypal because it’s past the 30-45 day mark.
Sorry for all the ranting, but I was just a bit fed up! Just wanted to let everyone know to be careful with their transactions!
