Hi.. I have bought a new digital camera. I have the picts on my desk top. and have made the picts. smaller, but they are still to large to post.
how do you make them thumbnail size to be able to post them??

Each pic cannot be larger than 39 kilobytes. What program are you using to resize them?

I only have two programs for Picts. I have Microsoft Picture it and
photodeluxe.

Oh, okay. I'm assuming you already know how to use them since you said you already made the pic smaller, but it just wasn't small enough.

It may be the format you're saving them in. .JPG is the preferred format for use on this site. :) Thanks for helping...chinchilla_boy! :)

also, most digital cameras take photos at a fairly high resolution - often 300dpi or more. For the internet, 72dpi is generally enough - that'll help.

Hi.. thank you for all the info.. I'm so new to all this, so I'm really reading the users manual and any info I can find on the net...
