hi.. have read on some threads about stuffed animals?? the chins love them to cuddle with, to hump.. lol..
can anyone suggest a proper one to get?? know that's hard to describe, but i want mine to have one and need to make sure its safe..
had one, no eyes..nose, etc.. to rip off..
but it was more "fluffy" than pure cotton material.. was scared he would ingest the fuzzy stuff..

Hi.. I bought one of the chin buddy's from www.chinworld.com
the animal is about the same size as my baby Nolan (also a standard grey) and he snuggles all the time with it!!
I did learn on this site to watch to make sure that they are not chewing/eating them. I just look it over at night when I take him out to play. also people on this site suggest fleece materials for things..

hope this helps

I would also suggest small stuffed dog or cat toys. My chin has a stuffed pig that I leave out in her play area and she carries that thing around EVERYWHERE with her! :) If you do leave it in the cage then I would suggest checking it daily to make sure your chin's not destroying it. (I know this from experience- I have MANY destructive animals!)

Looks like they may have sold out. It was on the Toys link.

Try the pet stores around you. They usually have chin safe stuffed toys in with the dog and cat chew toys. I still swear by the little hedgies that I get at petsmart. :)

Hi... I was just looking up in chin world and noticed they were not there anymore also.. So I sent an email to them to see if they still have them.
I'll let you know what they say.

thanks everyone for the help..

hubby and i went to town this evening, and i made a special trip to petsmart..
purchased a small stuffed animal with no eyes, nose, etc.. to be ripped off.. the tail resembles a chin tail, and its got fleece on one side..
soon as dusty saw it, he went to sniffing/nibbling, then of course commenced to humping it.. lol

You'll want to be sure to toss it in the wash every once and a while! One of our boys gets his pretty gross sometimes.
