Indian Fry Bread
Ingredients:
8 cups of flour
4 teaspoons (or 2 Tblsp--per recipe card) of baking powder
2 teaspoons of salt (adjust to taste/preference; if using salt substitute, reduce by 1/2)
6 tablespoons of shortening
3 cups of warm water

Mix all ingredients, and let rest for an hour or so; form small balls of dough, and roll-out (or stretch into form by hand) hand-size (or however large you want them) fry-breads, fry in hot oil until lightly brown

Top with honey, powdered sugar, or taco meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato

You're very welcome! I honestly haven't had it in about 10 years and had to get the recipe from my mother, so I could convince my wife to do that magic thing she does :)
